Bedding Plants

At Poplar Nurseries we are in an enviable position of having a single covered structure available for the housing and displaying of seasonal bedding.

Whilst the plant department does allow some of this space to be used for associated hanging basket products and plastic wear, over 700 square meters (7532 square feet) is still set aside purely for seasonal bedding plants.

For autumn and winter there are Pansy, Primrose, ornamental Kale, Wallflower, Cyclamen, Polyanthus, Bellis and many other types available in pots or as boxed bedding.

Spring is when the bedding house really comes into its own. Over 40 varieties of Fuchsia, benches of Geraniums bursting with colour, a medley of Marigolds, parades of Petunias and more Busy Lizzies than anyone knows what to do with. Not to mention the hundred or so other varieties of basket plants that are stocked.

Also on display are the hundreds of planted ‘ready to go’ hanging baskets and containers, many of which are produced by our own production staff.

We are fully stocked with summer bedding plants, but please note that these plants will require protection from late frosts.
