Our restaurant seats up to two hundred and twenty-five including our outdoor covered terrace with new suspended heaters overlooking the play area and gardens, making it a beautiful spot to enjoy a meal or a quick cup of coffee all year round.

We serve breakfast from 8.30am everyday (Sundays 9.30am), lunch from 11am and a delicious range of homemade cakes and scones throughout the day until 4.30pm (4pm Sundays).

Our menu changes seasonally, offering a wide selection of homemade favourites using local produce, some even grown on site.  Our chefs also create weekly specials, allowing them to offer you some exciting new dishes to try.  We have recently begun offering our homemade ‘spiced apple chutney’ and ‘red onion marmalade’ for customers to purchase.  
Our exquisite cakes, all made on site, are also available to order whole and with over two hundred different cakes to choose from this is an opportunity not to be missed! (Please note that twenty-four hours notice may be required.)

Coming into the spring/summer season we are again running our ever so popular traditional afternoon teas with a choice of two menus - what better way to spend a sunny afternoon overlooking our display gardens. Homemade cream teas, another all time favourite, consisting of two scones, a Tiptree jam and a rich clotted cream are also on offer - perfect for an afternoon “pick me up”, or a well deserved treat after the school run!
    
 

Group Bookings.......

‘Thyme Out’ is a spacious restaurant - perfect for club meets, from a quick coffee stop to a sit down lunch.  We will accommodate and adapt our menus for any visit you may require.  Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or queries.  (Ask for Kathleen or Laura.)

Please note that the restaurant opererates a counter service system.  We are only able to take group bookings for parties of ten people or over.  Coaches are welcome by appointment only.  Click here to contact us to make group bookings.
