Our Poplar restaurant seats up to 209 (131 inside and 78 outside). It includes a new conservatory overlooking the play area, gardens and Poplar miniature railway, making it a beautiful spot to enjoy a meal or a quick cup of coffee all year round. We serve breakfast from 8:30am every day (9.30am on Sundays) until 11:30am, lunch from 11:30am and a delicious range of homemade cakes, scones and cream teas throughout the day. Hot food is served until 3:00pm and cake is served until 4:30pm (4:00pm on Sundays). Our menu changes seasonally, offering a wide selection of homemade favourites using local produce. Our chefs also create daily specials, allowing them to offer you some exciting new dishes to try. Our exquisite cakes, made on site, are also available to order whole and with over two hundred different cakes to choose from, this is an opportunity not to be missed! (Please note that twenty-four-hour notice may be required.)
Our spacious restaurant is perfect for club meets, from a quick coffee stop to a sit-down lunch. We will accommodate and adapt our menus for any visit you may require. You can book a table in our restaurant, but bookings for the same day need to be made before 11:00am and Afternoon Tea bookings must be at least one day in advance. If you are visiting our restaurant please note that as of the 19th July the system for ordering has now changed as follows:
● Find yourself a table. (Please refrain from sitting at a dirty table as they need to be sanitised between each customer.)
● Take note of your table number and go to the tills to place and pay for your order.
● Finally, sit back and relax while we get it all ready and deliver it to your table.
Please note that booking is not necessary as we do also have a set number of tables for walk-in customers.
