Poplar is getting ready for a spellbinding Halloween. As the gardens transform with pumpkins, cobwebs and friendly ghosts, our miniature railway becomes the star of the season — offering spooky (but never scary) adventures for brave little travellers and their grown‑ups.

Spooky Train Rides for Daredevil Youngsters

Tiny thrill seekers can hop aboard our much‑loved miniature railway for a Halloween ride with a twist. This special journey winds through our themed gardens, where ghosts, witches and other playful characters wait to surprise passengers along the way.

The track runs for 350 yards from the station in front of the play area, making it the perfect bite‑sized adventure for younger children.

£2 for the first ride

£1 for each ride after

£5 all‑day wristband for unlimited spooky fun

Card payment only accepted.

Booking isn’t required — simply turn up, climb aboard and enjoy the magic.

These rides are spooky rather than scary, designed for children and grown‑ups to enjoy together.

The gardens will be decorated for spooky train rides from Friday 2nd October to Sunday 1st November.
