Poplar Restaurant reopening

We are delighted to be able to welcome you back to the Poplar Restaurant on 4th July and are all set to open our doors at 8.30am on Saturday.  Whether you fancy breakfast, lunch, cake or coffee… we can’t wait to welcome you!

This Saturday the restaurant will be open from 8.30am until 4.30pm - please click here to view our usual opening hours.

We are implementing a range of social distancing and safety measures to protect our customers and wonderful team.  Please read the below before your visit – we respectfully ask all visitors to abide by the measures we are implementing when dining with us, and we thank you for your patience in advance:

On arrival if you are planning to sit inside please wait to be seated.  If dining outside, please find your own table in the gardens.
We have temporarily reduced our menu but we’ll still be offering all your favourites throughout the day from breakfast to lunch or just coffee and cake.
In line with Government guidance every table will be asked to provide key information – name, contact number, date and time of visit – forms will be handed out at the sanitising station at the entrance to the restaurant – failure to comply with these requirements will unfortunately mean you will be unable to dine with us. This information is vital to help the NHS with the track and trace programme – your details will be destroyed after 21 days.
All our tables are socially distanced from each other inside and out. Please do not move or re-positioned any furniture, if you have any questions please ask a member of the team.
We will be operating a one-way system; the entrance being through the conservatory doors and exit out by the plant area.
Children are very welcome however are to be remained seated unless being accompanied by an adult to the toilet or to leave.
Payment is preferred to be by card however we will accept cash.
All of the tables and menus will be sanitised after each use.

We really look forward to seeing everyone, please bear with the team as we are learning the new way of serving too.
