Restaurant Update - New Table Service!

At Poplar Nurseries, our top priority is keeping both our customers and staff safe, especially during the current situation we find ourselves in. The government have recently given an update on the measures to be taken by those in the hospitality industry, which we will be implementing in the Poplar Restaurant from Thursday 24th September.

The announcement means changes will be made in the restaurant, and these include putting a pause on self service for the time being. From Thursday we will be offering table service - sit back, relax and let us come to you!

Customers will be asked to please write their order down on the back of their Track and Trace slip.

Once you are ready, place your slip into the plant pot at the end of your table and a member of our front of house team will collect your order.

Once your order has been processed, a member of our team will take payment at your table.

Due to guidelines, the maximum number of people we can allow per table still remains as 6 - the  Government’s “Rule of 6” means maximum groups of 6 including babies and children indoors or outside, so we ask that you please take this into account when planning a visit to Poplar.

If you would like to learn more about the social distancing measures we have in place at the Poplar Restaurant in order to do our part in tackling COVID-19, please click here.

We think table service will work well but ask you to bear with us as we get use to new ways of working. We may be running things differently than we have done in the past but we can assure you that you will still be met with the warmest of welcomes here at Poplar Nurseries. We look forward to serving you!
