Cyclamen are perfect for naturalising under trees, including conifers, shrubs, rockeries, containers and terrace. They make wonderful displays planted in large groups planted in woodland gardens.
Plant in partial shade with a good supply of humus such as leaf mould or compost. They will grow in a wide range of soils, but do require good drainage.
Plant the corms rounded side down, bedded into the surface. They do not like to be disturbed and may not flower in the first year.
Plant with other early-flowering bulbs such as snowdrops and winter aconites.
