Narcissus Actaea for sale in Colchester, Essex

Out Of Stock

When other Narcissus have finished flowering Actaea will put on a show stopping display being a late flowering, fragrant variety.

Daffodils like well drained, moist, humus rich soil in sun or partial shade.  Avoid very dry areas such as under conifers.  They look best when planted in informal groups in beds and borders under deciduous shrubs and trees and in outdoor containers.  They can be left undisturbed for years, but if they become overcrowded, once the leaves have withered can be lifted, divided and replanted immediately.

Allow the foliage to die back naturally as early removal can cause the bulb not to flower the following year.

Feed after flowering with a low nitrogen fertiliser.

Flowering height: 45cm (18").

RHS Award Of Garden Merit.

HARMFUL IF EATEN/SKIN IRRITANT.
