Highly prolific, long, brilliant golden yellow fruits with a crisp texture produced on compact plants. Good flavour when harvested young.
Grow in pots, grow bags or directly planted into the ground in a sunny sheltered position, allowing 60cm in all directions in well drained soil that is rich in hummus.
Harvest in summer to early autumn. Cut regularly when small to prolong cropping.
Ideal in soups, stir fries, steamed or boiled. The flowers may also be eaten.
Protect from frost.
