How to plant a tree
Planting a tree is a long-term investment in your garden, so choosing the right location with plenty of sunlight and space for growth is key. Start by digging a hole twice the size of the tree's root ball, then carefully remove the tree from its pot and place it in the hole, ensuring the root collar is level with the ground. Backfill the hole with soil, pressing it gently to secure the tree in place, before watering thoroughly to help it settle in. Finally, apply a layer of mulch around the base to retain moisture and protect the roots, giving your tree the best start for years to come.
