Poplar Miniature Railway in Colchester, Essex

Now in its twelfth year, the Poplar Miniature Railway is a firm favourite with families of all ages. The railway was designed to complement the lovely gardens and winds its way gently around Orchard Curve, through the new tunnel, Cottage Crossing and Folly Bank, taking three minutes to complete the circuit. Suitable for visitors of all ages but especially for young children, our beautiful line runs for 350 yards from the station in front of the play area.
