There’s something for serious foodies, sweet lovers and healthy eaters right here at Poplar Nurseries. We’re delighted to bring some incredible local produce, not just at our fabulous Food Hall, but within our home-cooked meals in our restaurant.

Whether you are looking for a healthy snack or something more indulgent, deliciousness is guaranteed. We love to keep on top of seasonal changes and seek out local suppliers wherever possible.

Our Poplar restaurant seats up to 227 (136 inside, 26 outside and 65 in our conservatory). The conservatory overlooks the play area, gardens and Poplar Miniature Railway, making it a beautiful spot to enjoy a meal or a quick cup of coffee all year round.

With a seasonally menu offering a wide selection of homemade favourites using local produce our chefs also create daily specials, allowing them to showcase their creative side. If you fancy a sweet treat, how about a slice of our delicious cake. (Also available to order whole with twenty-four hours notice.)

Supporting local producers, not just in Essex but the whole of Britain, our Food Hall houses everything from a larger selection of local fruit and veg, fresh fish and a variety of delicious treats in the deli, through to an increased number of goods from small batch British food and drink suppliers.
