Get the gardening season off to a flying start this Easter with a visit to Poplar. From plants, outdoor living and a range of delicious Easter treats, plus train rides around our gardens and a children's Easter Trail, pop in to discover more.

The garden and outdoor living:

For those who are keen to get going in the garden, there will be plenty here for the Easter weekend including summer bedding plants, herbs and vegetable plants as well as our usual seasonal plant displays. Take a leisurely wander around our plant displays to gain ideas and inspiration for your garden. Click here for further information.

Visit our huge Outdoor Living department for garden furniture, barbecues and accessories. Of course, you will also find everything else you would expect to find at a garden centre including statues, water features, all the gardening equipment you could possibly imagine, plus a Home and Gift Department with something to suit all. Poplar Miniature Railway:

Looking for ideas and inspiration to keep the children entertained during Easter holidays, then Poplar is the place to visit where the whole family can enjoy train rides around our Easter themed gardens on our miniature railway. Click here for further information.

Children's Easter Trail:

Keep the little ones entertained with our Children's Easter Half Term Trail. Runs from Saturday 28th March to Sunday 12th April. £1 per child. All proceeds to local charities. No booking required.

Restaurant:

Our restaurant is the perfect place to stop and relax for a while serving breakfast, lunch as well as coffee and cake. We have ample seating inside, outside and in our conservatory which overlooks the play area, gardens and miniature railway. As well as our seasonally changing menu, we also offer a variety of Afternoon Teas including Traditional, Savoury and Children’s options. Poplar Food Hall:

Don’t miss a trip to our Food Hall where you will find delicious local and British produce and fresh home cooked dishes, meats, cheeses and much more from our deli counter. We will, of course, have plenty of Easter eggs and chocolate at the ready. Our 3,000 sq ft Food Hall is located next to the entrance of the main Garden Centre. Click here for further information.
